These buttons are compatible with Zigbee, allowing you to connect them via a hub to Alexa, Google Home and other home automation systems. By incorporating automation, the CommKan Smart Button Starter Kit allows you to streamline operations, minimise wasted time, and enhance productivity. The kit includes a CommKan Smart Button, a CommKan Smart Hub, and a mounting label, each adding valuable functionality to your workflow.
CommKan Smart Buttons
Each CommKan Smart Button can perform up to three distinct actions based on the press type:
- Short Press – One quick press to activate a function.
- Double Press – Two quick presses to initiate a second action.
- Long Press – Hold the button until an action triggers for a third function.
With Zigbee compatibility, these Industrial Automation smart buttons easily integrate with Alexa, Google Home, or other home automation systems, enabling tasks like adjusting lighting, initiating voice announcements, or controlling multiple devices simultaneously. The button design includes a small adhesive disc and a magnetic backing, allowing you to attach it to surfaces and move it as needed. For a more permanent mount, a metal plate with screw holes is also provided.
CommKan Smart Hub
The CommKan Smart Hub connects your buttons to smart home systems. It can manage up to 32 buttons within a 30-metre range, ensuring each button remains connected for seamless operation. To enable Alexa or Google Home integration, the Smart Hub must be on the same WiFi network as your other smart devices, making it easy to connect and control your factory environment with minimal setup.
