FenceEasy Knee Rail Bracket for 4" x 4" Timber Birdsmouth or Diamond Posts
If you're looking to create some Knee Rail Fencing to enclose an area such as a walkway or a car park, these brackets will allow you to easily attach the horizontal timber to any Birdsmouth/Diamond-cut posts. The brackets allow for a 4" x 4" square timber to be attached to a 4" x 4" Birdsmouth post.
These brackets are designed to allow for the post to sit comfortably on the birdsmouth post, with holes to secure the bracket in place with wscrews. In total, there are 12 screw holes on the bracket, with 8 in total allowing the bracket to be screwed into the birdsmouth post, and 4 into the top timber. The holes are each 7.5mm, allowing for timber wood screws to be used for a secure hold.
Installation methods are optional. You can secure the bracket to the birdsmouth post first and then slot the timber through at the top. Alternatively you can secure the bracket to the top timber first, and then slot into the birdsmouth post and screw it in that way. Either way will provide a secure hold. The brackets are incredibly strong, but can be pulled wider if needed to slot over any existing knee rail fences.
These brackets are made from heavy-duty British steel. This ensures strength and durability. You can choose between a textured black or galvanised steel finish. It will ensure rust-proofing to avoid corrosion or damage to your brackets or fence. Typically these brackets are only available in bare metal finishes, so the Textured black option allows for a unique appearance.
