If you own or tend to horses, this Galvanised Hay Feeding Trough is a great choice for ensuring your horse gets the right nutrients every day. You can add hay and other food items to the trough and let the horse enjoy a healthy meal. It will allow the horse to feed at a comfortable position, whilst being in a suitable position for yourself when filling it up.

The horse hay feeder is fully made from Galvanised Steel which is not only durable and hard-wearing for constant use, but will remain rust-free for peace of mind as your animal will be eating directly out of it. It can be used in all weathers and can easily stand up to the elements, but be aware that the food will get wet if left in a downpour. We have load tested this to over 80kg so it will easily be able to handle the food and items you keep inside it.

The side of the horse hay feeder features the Jake's Farm Yard logo in a chocolate brown colour which has been riveted onto the body.

The Hay Feeder for Horses will arrive partially assembled when you order it. The main body of the feeder is fully assembled as it is riveted together for a strong and durable construction. The legs however will need attaching to the main body of the feeder, and for this we have provided 16 nuts and bolts for you to secure each leg around the body of the product, in the carefully-placed bolt-holes.

This hay feeder was fully designed and manufactured in the UK at our premises in Norfolk, and we manufacture each one from British Steel.

Please note:

• This item comes partially assembled with the main trough body full assembled. You will be required to attach the legs to the feeder yourself using the 16 nuts and bolts supplied.
• This item is not suitable for using as a water bowl or water trough due to the small gaps between the pieces of Galvanised Steel, and should only be used as a hay feeder or feeding trough for horses and other similar sized animals.
