Volcann™ SMASHA Griddle & BBQ Flat Top Grill Conversion
The Volcann SMASHA Griddle & BBQ Flat Top Grill Conversion has been designed with Smashburgers in mind. It is an easy-to-clean Stainless or mild steel griddle-style Flat Top Grill that lets you make an amazing Smashburger, grill some bacon or veggies and serve up lush, home-cooked food.
To use the SMASHA griddle, you simply place it over your existing BBQ to create a completely flat grilltop, suitable for cooking meats, and essential for cooking Smashburgers. There is nothing flatpack or anything to assemble, simply grab the griddle and stick it on top of your existing BBQ, and you now have a flat top grill conversion.
Not only is this suitable for use with BBQs, you can also use this with gas hobs in your kitchen when the weather isn't quite right for outdoor cooking.
The Volcann SMASHA is designed and manufactured by Smashburger enthusiasts in the UK using heavy duty British Steel.
What is a Smash Burger?
The idea behind a Smashburger is that instead of letting a big, thick burger sit on the grill to cook, you add the burger meat to a sizzling hot grilltop and smash it down with a burger press as it cooks for the first few seconds. The combination of high heat and heavy pressure helps to create a crispy and well-browned burger that cooks extremely fast.
After cooking for 90 seconds or so, you should add some cheese and cook it for another 2 minutes before serving it in a crispy brioche bun.
The end result is a delicious caramelised flavour and a juicy burger. The Volcann SMASHA is designed to get you these results with ease.

We offer two sizes to accommodate different sizes of grill and different cooking needs. The two sizes available are:
- 200mm Depth x 300mm Width
- 270mm Depth x 500mm Width
Add a Premium Burger Press
If you need the tools to make a smashburger, we recommend adding a Premium Burger Press to your order. This will enable you to press down on your burgers on the flat top grill to release all the juices and let the smashburger crispy and well-browned in quick times.
