Our Flat Galvanised Steel Brackets provide a quick and very easy system for mounting and joining railway sleepers for garden construction work. Our unique design is cheap, quick to install, and works with all sizes of timber railway sleepers. These straight flat brackets are a quick and easy system for mounting railway sleepers as driveway or pathway edging or straight edges, as well as building raised beds and planters, securing retaining walls and border edging, and many other simple constructions.
Our brackets are typically made from 2mm thick steel, but these extra strong brackets are made from 2.5mm thick steel. That extra 0.5mm provides amazing amounts of strength, meaning these brackets can be used for heavy-duty installations. These particular brackets are styled after a classic 2 x 2 Domino with 4 screw holes for securely fixing to wood.
These simple straight, flat brackets should be used to secure timbers that are being joined end-to-end. Simply press the sleepers together, and then use the bracket to secure the join on the long edges. The bracket features 4 holes, 7.5mm diameter, meaning 2 screws can be used on each piece of timber for an extra-secure installation.
Each straight flat bracket is 100mm x 50mm and is made from Heavy Duty British Steel. This bracket comes in its bare Galvanised Steel state which provides additional rust resistance and a smooth, clean finish.
All SleeperFit railway sleeper brackets are all covered by a durability promise, we use these products ourselves and stand by their quality.
