Our brackets provide a quick and very easy system for mounting and joining railway sleepers for garden construction work. Our unique design is cheap, quick to install, and works with all sizes of timber railway sleepers. These straight brackets are a quick and easy system for mounting railway sleepers as driveway or pathway edging or straight edges, as well as building raised beds and planters, securing retaining walls and border edging, and many other simple constructions.
This particular model of bracket is great for use on tough surfaces. It is a version of our standard ID002 Railway Sleeper Bracket, but in a thicker material, and with ribbed teeth. It can be driven into the ground easily on particularly hard and rocky ground. The ribbed teeth and thicker metal ensures a strong bracket which can be easily driven into rough terrain.
To install, you must simply bang the stake into the ground where the sleeper is to be installed. We recommend a rubber mallet for this. Ensure that the bracket is placed flush against both sleepers on a 90° bend. Then just screw the bracket onto the timber sleepers. We suggest using these brackets internally as they are not designed for decorative use.
This bracket is made from 2.5mm thick, heavy-duty British galvanised steel. This ensures rust resistance and durability. The bare metal finish looks great and will shine brightly for years to come.
All SleeperFit railway sleeper brackets are all covered by a durability promise, we use these products ourselves and stand by their quality.
