The InfiniBracket collection is crafted from British Stainless Steel. This makes the brackets suitable for use with all woods, especially Oak. Due to oak being acidic, it can react negatively to Galvanised Steel brackets. Other hardwoods such as Chestnut and Cedar will react the same way. Stainless Steel brackets do not react to the the acidity, ensuring that both the brackets and oak sleepers remain in brilliant condition.
Our brackets provide a quick and very easy system for mounting and joining railway sleepers for garden construction work. Our unique design is cheap, quick to install, and works with all sizes of timber railway sleepers. These Stainless Steel Corner brackets are a quick and easy system for mounting railway sleepers as driveway or pathway edging or straight edges, as well as building raised beds and planters, securing retaining walls and border edging, and many other simple constructions. Stainless Steel brackets are the best choice for use with Oak Sleepers due to their resistance to the acidity of oak wood.
These simple corner brackets should be used to secure timbers at 90° joins. Simply press the sleepers together, and then use the bracket to secure them together on the internal corners. The bracket features 8 holes, 7.5mm diameter, meaning 4 screws can be used on each piece of timber for an extra-secure installation.
Each corner bracket is 85mm x 85mm x 80mm, there is 85mm either side of the 90° bend. These brackets are made from British Grade 304 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. This provides superior rust-resistance and makes these brackets the only choice for use with Oak Sleepers.
