Do you ever struggle to install things level? You can use tricks like drawing the holes on masking tape and then applying that to the wall, you can do it by eye, or attempt to use a spirit level. Using a spirit level is not always simple though, having something to mark the second hole once one screw is in can sometime be challenging. This tool aims to make the process of level installation easier than ever. Our Spirit Level Marker Aid Tool will make installing things a breeze!
The tool works when one screw has already been installed. On the far left end of the tool, there are 4 notches, each has a different size. The notches range from 3mm up to 6mm, to match the common sizes of screw in the UK. Once the screw has been installed, slot the tool over the screw using the relevant size. You can now use the tool like a lever to get the next screw marked perfectly level.
With a spirit level on top of the tool, a magnetic one works best, you can now begin to lift the lever up and down to get the line perfectly level. Once level, use a pen or pencil to mark a line on the wall, the line will be perfectly level with the centre of the screw. Draw a line to mark the level line and then get out a ruler or measuring tape and measure from the screw along your line and mark the distance. Now you can screw in the other screw and it will be perfectly level - no more wonky installs!
This tool is made from light-duty British steel. It comes in a textured black powder-coat. The powder-coat adds to the durability of the steel and provides a sleek and stylish finish.
This spirit level marking tool has been designed in the United Kingdom. Each one is manufactured at our premises in Norfolk.
