Add a touch of calming, Japanese-inspired art to your home and garden with an Okunaii Metal Origami Flying Bird. Despite being called origami, there is nothing for you to fold yourself. The birds come fully folded and welded in their final state. There is no assembly required.
They can be installed using some thread or string. Each wing has two small holes for inserting thread through. The thread can then be tied high in the air and hung from the ceiling or from the underside or a shelf etc. We do not provide any thread but recommend fishing wire or something similar.
The birds are available in 3 different sizes, each in a different subtle tone. The larger bird is available in an icy white colour. The mid-sized bird comes in a subtle, light grey tone. The smaller bird comes in black. You can choose to buy just one bird, or get the 3 of them in a combo pack to install in a flying formation.
Each metal origami bird is made from lightweight steel which is folded and welded into place. The metal is then coated in one of the colours mentioned above. Not only does this add a nice look to the steel, but also provides some additional durability and a wipe-clean finish.
These origami birds were designed by our team in the United Kingdom. We manufacture each one at our premises in Norfolk.
