SleeperFit Simple Planter & Vegetable Patch Installation Kit - Sleepers & Screws
Our SleeperFit Planter kits are an all in one solution for installing planters, raised beds or vegetable patches in your garden quickly. You receive the screws and most importantly, some of our LightGauge Railway Sleepers to build your brand new raised flower bed, vegetable patch or planter.
Our kits allow you to build different shapes and sizes of planter and contain differing numbers of LightGauge Railway Sleepers and boxes of screws.
Raised Bed Kit Installation Guide & Tips:
- Simply lay the brackets down in the formation required based on the kit you purchase.
- Work one layer at a time, and ensure brackets are placed down on the long edge so that each layer is 75mm high.
- Screw the corners (and straight joins) together with the screws provided. We expect 4 screws to be used per straight join in rectangular planters, and 3 to be used on every corner.
- At each layer, screw the top layer to the next one down to ensure a secure install for every layer, especially when working with multiple layers.
- Stagger the screws to ensure they do not clash within the wood.
- Due to the number of screws required, you are provided with 2 boxes of screws in a 4-Layer Rectangular Planter.
These LightGauge sleepers are specially designed for versatility and durability, making them an ideal choice for any landscaping project including building raised beds as part of our kit. These sleepers measure 980mm x 150mm x 75mm, providing a great size for building raised flower beds and planters.
Made from high-quality timber, our sleepers are treated with a preservative that protects against rot and decay, ensuring that they will last for many years. The treatment not only enhances the appearance of the sleeper, but also provides a natural look that blends seamlessly into any garden setting.
